And that’s why the cultural association Prima leben und stereo e.V. (PLUS) is bringing the music back for you on May 2, 2026! Let yourself get swept away at the Freisinger Nacht der Musik — from bar to bar, from beat to beat.

What to expect

Across bars, cafés, and open‑air stages, live bands and DJs bring a vibrant mix of genres — rock, pop, blues, grunge, jazz, salsa, swing, funk, EDM, country, folk, singer‑songwriter. Familiar faces and fresh new acts will pull you into a musical pub‑crawl full of energy and good vibes.

When does it start — and how long do we party?

The music kicks off early:

• 3:00 PM – EDM outside Chocolaterie Muschler

• 4:00 PM – young talents at Marienplatz

• From 8:00 PM, more acts take over the surrounding bars and venues.

And if you’re not done yet: join us at the aftershow location from 10:00 PM until 5:00 AM.

Entry & Age Check

You can purchase your admission wristband at various sales points for 14 €, or 11 € reduced (*reduced: pupils, students, people with disabilities, retirees — don’t forget your ID). Your wristband gives you access to all locations throughout the night.

Please remember your ID — wristbands are put on directly after the age check and cannot be purchased for someone else.

Get your wristbands at our afternoon and evening ticket booths at Marienplatz and Obere Hauptstraße starting at 2:00 PM.

Or secure a digital ticket in advance via our website: www.freisinger-nacht-der-musik.de/.

On the event day, simply exchange your digital ticket for a wristband at the access points from 6:00 PM, or at our ticket booths from 2:00 PM. Please bring your ID and, if applicable, proof of eligibility for a reduced ticket.
